To qualify, you need a property in England or Wales with an existing fossil fuel heating system and a valid EPC with no major insulation issues.

Getting the most out of your heat pump with the
Octopus Cosy tariff

The Octopus Cosy tariff is a smart way for heat pump owners to reduce heating costs by taking advantage of time-of-use energy rates. You can enjoy super cheap electricity during three daily periods:

· 04:00 - 07:00
· 13:00 - 16:00
· 22:00 - 00:00

These rates are 51% cheaper than the standard Day rate in your region, making them ideal for running your heat pump or charging a battery storage system.

During peak hours, from 16:00 - 19:00, electricity rates are 50% higher than the Day rate, but your heat pump can operate on stored energy from the cosy periods.

By heating your home during these discounted times and storing that warmth, you avoid peak-time prices while maintaining a comfortable indoor temperature throughout the day.
